Stravatha is a true masterpiece ! Every room is decorated with remarkable care, every object seems to have been thoughtfully chosen, and the whole place has a rare sense of harmony...

It would also be hard to imagine a better location: in the north of the island, in a wilder and more unspoilt area, far from the bustle of the south. Here, an extraordinary sense of peace reigns, facing the endless expanse of the sea.

The beautiful pool fits perfectly into this setting, seeming to melt into the blue of the sea and the sky. It naturally extends the landscape and enhances the feeling of infinity and serenity.

And then there are the sunsets… Every evening, the light is different, offering a new spectacle.

A rare place of exceptional beauty and serenity, which you leave with only one desire: to return.

We had a wonderful weeks’ stay at Stravatha. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated and had everything we needed (no airconditioning, but with the thick walls and shutters the house stayed quite cool so we didn’t need it). The pool is large and very nice, the views are breathtaking and the privacy of the location is unrivalled. We would certainly like to come back.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Jeremy’s place - peaceful, quiet, great location, fantastic view and a beautiful house with a lot of space both outdoors and indoors. Jeremy was always very helpful with local recommendations such as restaurants, boat rentals etc. Nice pebble beaches, mini markets and restaurants about 15 minutes drive. Local restaurants in the village about 5 minutes drive. Strong recommendation for a relaxed and peaceful family holiday!

What a fabulous place. The house is both stylish and comfortable … but it’s the pool and that view that really take your breath away and make this a quite exceptional place to stay.

Stravatha is wonderfully secluded, about five minutes above the village of Volimes. If you're looking for peace and quiet and want to truly unwind and escape from everyday life, this is the perfect place. The location is idyllic: a peaceful spot with spectacular views, a fantastic pool, and stunning sunsets.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and the unique atmosphere and felt completely at ease from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The owners, Jeremy and Vivien, are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful.

For anyone seeking relaxation, peace, and beautiful surroundings, Stravatha is a truly special place. We will definitely be back!

Stravatha is everything we could have wished for and more. The villa is very well equipped, beautifully maintained and incredibly comfortable. It’s the perfect place to switch off, relax and make wonderful memories. Highly recommend!

We have just got back from the most breathtaking week in Stravatha. The place is utterly magical and none of us can wait to return. It's a cliche but pictures really cannot do it justice.

The house is rustic and very charming with a cool Bohemian feel. Its relative simplicity makes it more rather than less sophisticated, and whilst that may not be to everyone's taste, it certainly was to ours! The great sound system was much appreciated and a lovely touch. The Mediterranean garden and its wildlife were a joy to explore.

Jeremy is a thoughtful and empathetic host, and any minor issues were swiftly resolved.

But really it's about that view. And just being there.

We stayed here in early September 2025. The house is perfect with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location is peaceful and beautiful with fantastic views to the west for those breath taking sunsets. The infinity pool is the jewel in the crown of this stunning place. We were so sad to leave but have the best memories. Thanks so much.
